Sales Administrator

Reporting to:   Internal Accounts Manager

We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time Sales Administrator. Reporting to the Internal Accounts Manager, this role is to provide high standards of service and support to internal and external customers. You will work closely with our Area Sales Managers, Marketing and Sales Team. You will be responsible for day-to-day administrative assistance to the Internal Account Manager and Area Sales Managers. This role is varied in tasks and will suit someone capable of managing their own workload to ensure you meet deadlines and manage a number of priorities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • The setting up and maintenance of Customer Terms & Contracts.
  • Supporting the implementation of Price increases.
  • Regular updating of shared databases for Special Pricing.
  • Sales & Operations Planning data collation and entry.
  • Organising and ordering of Marketing material including POS and display doors.
  • Help in organising exhibitions and Training courses.
  • Administration of Marketing Funds.
  • Day to Day management of the General Enquiry mail box.
  • Creating Reports as and when required by the Internal Account Manager and Area Sales Managers.
  • Carrying out general day to day administration duties as required by the Internal Accounts Manager.

The successful Candidate will:

Goods returns / Despatch Coordinator

Full-Time, Permanent

We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time Goods returns and Despatch Coordinator to join our team.  Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role is to provide high standards of service and support to internal and external customers.   You will co-ordinate and help to support the day to day running of the Despatch Office, work with our third-party provider Gregorys and provide support to our Despatch, Loading teams and drivers.  You will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of goods returns / reallocations.

To be successful in the role you will have experience of working in a customer service environment, and background in despatch/returns would be advantageous.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with the production teams on product availability 
  • Customer delivery notifications
  • Dealing with customer complaints/queries relating to the delivery of goods
  • Work cross functionally in problem solving for goods not loaded/goods returned
  • Generate Despatch paperwork, issue and edit loads to the loading bay
  • Invoicing of delivered goods
  • Management of the returns process
  • Carrying out general day to day administration duties as required by the Supply Chain Manager
  • Manage and maintain the FedEx contract including the processing of insurance claims.
  • Help to Coordinate bank holiday despatch planning
  • Pass supplier invoices for payment
  • Month end transaction checks

The successful candidate will:

  • Have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, as well as a confident and professional telephone manner
  • Be calm and resilient and able to manage customers’ expectations
  • Work effectively under pressure and prioritise tasks appropriately, whilst also ensuring accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel
  • Have the ability to proactively seek improvements to systems and processes to enhance the customer delivery experience
  • Previous experience in a Goods returns / Despatch role an advantage

Technical Support Advisor

Full-Time, Permanent

We are currently seeking to recruit a Technical Advisor based at our manufacturing site in Yeovil, Somerset.  Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, the purpose of this varied role is to provide direct Warranty and Technical telephone support in order to ensure high standards of customer service and support for new and existing customers.  You will also work closely with the Customer Service call team, Production Supervisors, Technical Advisor, and external garage door specialist engineers, to ensure a smooth and timely follow-through of work.  Therefore, you must demonstrate excellent communication skills and an assertive, positive and flexible approach.

This role will suit someone capable of taking a significant level of responsibility in your role and managing your own workload to ensure you meet deadlines and manage a number of priorities.  This is a great opportunity for a technically-minded individual who enjoys dealing directly with customers to join a strong, reputable company on a competitive benefits package.    

Principle Accountabilities

Receiving and responding to incoming calls from customers, engineers and end users. To provide technical advice and support on the Garador product range, and offer technical support within the Company.  You will also be required to support the Warranty and Quotes teams.

  • Directly respond to and manage incoming technical calls from our customers and end users.
  • Provide ongoing support and advice to the Customer Services team in relation to technical matters.
  • Liaise with the Warranty team to investigate warranty issues and help identify where / why problems have occurred.
  • Provide ongoing support to the quoting process, particularly more detailed and complex quotes, and supply cover and day to day support for the warranty department.
  • Provide expert technical advice and support to line management and colleagues
  • Assist where necessary with shows (Home Build and Renovation etc.) which may mean occasional overnight stays.
  • Provide cover and support for Garador installation courses.
  • Support the Internal Audit process for our Quality Management System (full training will be provided).

After an initial induction to Garador, you will be expected to work with a minimum of supervision and may be expected to deal with other duties appropriate to your skill set and abilities.

Full training and support will be given.
